Coach Nikki has spent the last decade in the Winter Garden area working to develop young hitters by teaching mechanics, mindset, and more.
She grew up in Northern California playing for the nationally ranked San Jose Lady Sharks as a 1st baseman. She played collegiately under Tyra Perry at Birmingham-Southern College from 2002-2006. Nikki was a three-time First-Team All-Big South selection and led the softball team in batting average all four seasons. She was the 2003 NCAA Independent Rookie of the Year, and was also named to the Big South All-Tournament Teams in 2004 and 2006. Nikki still stands as BSC's all-time leader in hits (239), doubles (56), RBI (133), total bases (359), and putouts (1,431). She finished her collegiate career with a .384 batting average, .577 slugging percentage, and 20 homeruns. In 2013 she was inducted into BSC's Sports Hall of Fame.
